How we research and verify
Last updated
Temple rules, ticket releases and crowd conditions change. Our job is to show you what is current, where it came from, and what to do about it.
Sources we use
- Official temple board websites, apps and press releases (for example TTD for Tirupati).
- State government and tourism department notices.
- Reputable news reports that quote the temple authority, used to point to the official notice.
- Our own visits and pilgrim feedback for practical tips, clearly labelled as advice.
Official facts vs planning advice
Facts that come from a temple authority are shown with the source and the date we checked them. Planning suggestions, such as how much buffer to keep, are our editorial advice and are written as such. We never invent a waiting time, quota or release date.
Dates on every page
Each guide shows when its changing information was last reviewed. Pages with fast-changing facts are reviewed more often, and the live status shows the date of the official snapshot it is based on.
Use of AI tools
We may use software, including AI tools, to help draft or translate text. Every fact is checked by a person against an official or reliable source before publication.
Corrections
If you find an error, email hello@pilgrimora.com with the page link. We review corrections first and update the "reviewed" date when a page changes.
Independence
Advertisers and booking partners do not see or approve our guides before publication, and payment never buys a recommendation.
